A fiber cutter (also known as a fiber shaving machine) is a specialized industrial equipment that precisely cuts/shreds various long fibers, fiber bundles, and fiber waste to a set length. It is widely used in textiles, composite materials, papermaking, environmental recycling, and other fields. Its core function is to achieve fixed-length processing through mechanical shearing (the mainstream method) or water cutting/airflow cutting.
Feeding system (conveyor belt/roller pressure roller): feeds fibers at a uniform speed and stably, preventing slippage and tangling;
Cutting assembly (blade + blade holder + transmission): high-hardness alloy blades, combined with a roller cutter/guillotine/radial cutter head structure;
Discharge/collection device: collects short fibers and conveys them to the next process; Power and control system (motor + frequency converter + PLC/touch screen): sets the cutting length and speed, and has overload protection and emergency stop functions.

Textiles and Chemical Fibers: Short cutting of polyester, polypropylene, and nylon filaments; processing of cotton, wool, and linen fibers;
Composite Materials: Short cutting of glass fiber and carbon fiber for reinforcing plastics, building materials, and friction materials;
Environmental Recycling: Cutting and reusing waste clothing, fabric scraps, and PET bottle flakes;
Paper and Nonwoven Fabrics: Cutting of wood pulp fibers and synthetic fibers to improve the strength of paper/nonwoven fabrics;
Others: Short cutting of asbestos fibers and ceramic fibers for high-temperature insulation materials.
